The Global Investor Programme (GIP) is curated and managed by Contact Singapore, a division under Singapore's Economic Development Board. Contact Singapore mainly establishes connections with business owners and entrepreneurs to assist them in investing and expanding their businesses in Singapore.
Individuals who intend to start a business or make investments in Singapore may apply for Singapore Permanent Residency (PR) through the Global Investor Programme (GIP).Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible to apply for Singapore Permanent Residency under this programme.
1. You can declare no more than two companies in your application to meet the minimum threshold of turnover. These companies must be included in at least one of the official industry list.
2. If your company is a listed company, you must be one of the largest individual shareholders.
Invest no less than SGD 10 million to establish a new commercial entity or expand the business of an existing entity
Invest no less than SGD 25 million in selected funds under the Global Investor Programme (GIP)
Establish a Single Family Office in Singapore that manages assets of no less than SGD 200 million, with an investment of no less than SGD 50 million
